This year is the 100th anniversary of the NAACP. Professor Emeritus of History Dr. Martin Schiesl has compiled an exhibit entitled: Freedom's Vanguard: The NAACP and the Struggle for Racial Equality in California, 1945-1970. The exhibit will be on display in the library's 2nd floor bridge from August - December, 2009.
