The University Library celebrated its 2nd annual Día de los Niños celebration on Friday, May 12. Created by author and poet Pat Mora in 1996, Día de los Niños is a "nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children from all backgrounds." Toward this effort, the Library hosted three classes from Anna Bing with a story stroll of The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend, and "imaginary friend" arts and crafts.

Thank you to Anna Bing and all of our volunteers! We appreciate the opportunity to support all of the wonderful early literacy instruction occurring on-campus.
